After wearing them, give the material time to rest and recover by inserting a properly fitting wooden shoe tree. This helps maintain the shoe’s shape, smooths out creases from walking, and actively aids the drying process. A good rule of thumb is to let the shoe rest on the shoe tree for three times as long as you wore it.
