After wearing the shoes, let the leather rest to regenerate and insert a suitable wooden shoe tree. This helps maintain the shoe’s shape, smooths out creases from walking, and actively aids the drying process. The rule of thumb here is that the shoe should rest on the shoe tree for three times as long as you wore it.
